How do our fees compare

We do not just give you average service or quality materials or skill!  For the long term solutions such as caps, implants and bridges we are similar in cost to most other very high quality dentists and specialists in the downtown areas of the big cities.Type your paragraph here.

Preventive Dentistry

It is much better to prevent problems than to try to cure them, I think you will agree. This is the driving force of our office.

Emergencies

It is important to me that you can reach me when a dire need arises and it’s after office hours. We will be glad to provide you with my personal cell phone, special number. Keep the number in a safe place and call us if you need urgent help.

Payments

You can pay by M/C, Visa, check, or cash. We also offer usage of CareCredit. You will receive written arrangements, in advance, so that you will always know what your obligation is, and how it is to be managed. No surprises.

Insurance

The amount they refund varies from 0% to 100% depending on what procedures you have done. In spite of our efforts, we find it impossible to be sure what you will get back…it’s very frustrating. We expect you to claim from your insurance after you have settled your account with us. We will help to submit your insurance claim.  “In dentistry–I care for people, not insurance companies! When I treat insurance companies–I am in malpractice.” Dr. Omer  Re

The problem with fillings

Most people would like to keep their teeth as long as possible. We have found that in the past, one of the major reasons that teeth are lost is that they break. This is because they have been weakened by decay and large, failing fillings. Many surveys show that the average life of a silver filling is under 9 years, so in a lifetime you can expect to have fillings replaced many times, and to gradually get bigger. S0,  for all but small cavities, it is often better to have a long term solution such as a Cap (crown), to stop the continual treatment and damage to your tooth. For the smaller cavities we use the strong, beautiful, tooth colored cosmetic bonding filling.

Caps (crowns) are often the answer
We use a newer kind of cap which fits over the tooth and only requires the outer worn enamel and decay be removed. The porcelain type material is state of the art and resembles enamel.  This is important because it is kindest to your opposing tooth.  It helps to reduce wear. This specialized material is used on your back teeth because it is strong enough to support your bite and keep your jaw relationships stable. For the front teeth it has similar optical properties as enamel.  It bounces the light like a natural tooth.  Cosmetically this looks vibrant and natural.

A  Bargain We Would Like to Make with You

Here is what we feel we owe to each other.
It is what we would like our relationship with you to be built upon.
If you have any concerns at all with this, we are happy to discuss with you what you feel would be fair.

We must tell you in advance, the cost of any major treatment.
We must do our very best treatment for you.
We must listen to you when you talk.
We must apologize and make amends if we don’t perform as we promise, and you can be the judge of our performance.
We will do our absolute level best to keep to schedule because we know everyone hates to be kept waiting.

You must complain to us if something that upsets you. That way we have a chance to make it right, apologize and regain our relationship.
You should pay your bills on time.

We would love for you to refer at least three people whom you feel would like the things we offer. In this way we can continue to have a flow of new people, and be here for you when you need us next time. We work hard to exceed your expectations in every way possible. Thanks for the opportunity to treat and care for you.

The Hours we work:

There is usually someone in the office every weekday from 8 am until 5 pm Monday through Thursday. Dr. Feit conducts research and prepares lectures on Friday.  Appointments on Friday can be arranged if no other time works for you. Other appointment times are available as needed.  Sometimes we start earlier or finish later.

What we want for you

Our aim is for you to enjoy coming to see us. We want you to be excited about how your teeth look, and how healthy your mouth feels.
If you are happy because of your experience with us, you will invite your  friends to see us.  We would like you to invite your friends and family to come see us, it is the highest compliment! That’s how we know we have helped you achieve what you want.

Making the most of your time

Your time is very important to you, and that makes it important to us. We usually run to time, and we will apologize if we keep you
waiting.  Because of my specialty training in laboratory procedures you will find that we can do things in less visits than is usual. We like to work efficiently and not have you coming back for lots of visits. We have a lab on premises.

How we make your treatment pleasant

There are televisions on the wall and ceiling, and programs running constantly. And we can even turn it off, if you prefer. We have developed many new techniques that help us to help you to enjoy treatment without discomfort. We use microscopes on our glasses to see better. The special magnifying glasses help us in seeing any problems earlier. We’ll give you a Stress Beeper. So that if you are worried about anything you can signal us stop immediately. Just push the buzzer button.
